I had a potential customer ask if we had a separate tires module.
Something we charge extra for like some other fleet maintenance software programs out there.
I replied back and let him know we don't have a separate tire module.
But the current version of TATEMS you can track Tires installed.
It tracks tires installed on each piece of equipment and you can also track the costs in a couple of ways.
I also told him we are working on a version that will allow you to track tire depths.
It will also let you track retreads.
As well as costs, all in the tires and wheels tab.
I shot a quick video to show how it works now and how it will work in version 4.7.00
Check out out!

I created a new spreadsheet for you that is like the one last week except this one also includes the equipment numbers.
In this one you will be able to see what you are spending year over year on each repair code for each piece of equipment.
The video is about 10 seconds shy of 6 minutes
In the video I also show you:
The spreadsheet can be found at:
and it is number:
on that page.
I hope this is helpful for you.

Here is a short under 2 minute video preview of the auto backup and backup history to be included in upcoming version 4.6.17 of TATEMS, Fleet Maintenance Software.
We are adding 2 new preferences under Tools->Preferences
“Stop asking to Backup when closing TATEMS”
“Always Backup when closing TATEMS”
If they are both unchecked then when you exit TATEMS you will see the backup message displayed and you will be able to choose the backup location or accept the path that is already displayed.
If you have the first one checked and not the second one then TATEMS will close without asking you to backup.
If you choose the second one then TATEMS will auto backup every time you exit it as long as the backup path/location is available.
We are also adding the backup history to the backup form that will display all the previous backup locations, dates and the computer name that initiated the backup.
I hope you like it.

We just created a new spreadsheet report that links to your TATEMS data and will show you how much you have spent for each repair code for your entire fleet year over year.
Here is a video that shows you the spreadsheet and also how to link it to your TATEMS data .
I did not show it in the video but in Excel if you choose the Data tab and then click Filter you will see a dropdown appear at the top of each column.
If you click on the Repair Code dropdown you can filter to see just a single repair code and to make it easier to view year over year for just that repair code.
You could also sort by the Repair Code Column with would group repair codes for the various years together.
It is number
Next I'm going to try to create one that will display each equipments totals for each year. That way you can see if any specific equipment had grown way out of whack.
You could also use the spreadsheet above to see if a particular Repair Code for a specific year looks too high and then go look it up in one of the TATEMS reports I showed you in the video.

I just shot 2 quick videos for you.
The first one shows you a new feature for upcoming version 4.6.17 that will allow you to choose the backup location (38 seconds)
The second one shows you how you will be able to resize the screen to take up more space on larger higher resolution screens. (68 seconds)
