Tatems Equipment Management System has been very helpful in managing our equipment and vehicle locations, handling our vehicle and equipment maintenance and has allowed us to better track our costs compared to our budget. The ability to have multiple users all tied to the same database has kept our equipment locations up to date as never before. This has also allowed us to lesson our equipment and vehicle idle usage. When a piece of equipment appears idle, we now have the opportunity to better identify its last use and update where the vehicle is currently.

Maintenance has also been better handled with the use of Tatems. Having one current database that our equipment team can use has our fleet of 400+ pieces of equipment in California up to date. Incorporating the registration and insurance dates has also helped us focus on being proactive instead of behind the times. Late registrations mean cost, and having an effective process of managing through TATEMS has already shown to be a cost saver.

I also like the feature that you can identify rental equipment from the purchased. Very useful tool to keep track of what is rented vs purchased.

We are still learning daily all of the useful tools that are included with the package. The reports feature captures the ability of the database and allows you to easily report any and everything you need, quickly.

Keep up the great work. I strongly recommend the TATEMS Equipment program to anyone who wants to take control of their equipment management!

Other Comments: Being in California, we are getting familiar with the new State Regulations and AQMD Rules for clean air. The 90 day and yearly inspections have been easily updated into our system and allows us better management for our DOT inspections.

I work for a small company (about 50 trucks). We have 3 fleet techs. Drivers would complain that they have requested repairs that were not completed. Even if the driver wrote down the request the paper would disappear. Now I have a way to log the request into the computer and see how long it takes to get a problem fixed. No more question as to who said what and when. I have a permanent record.

Other Comments: The Staff Is great! The videos are very useful. I am not a computer whiz but the videos are helping me learn. I also know I do not exploit this program to its full potential but I like what it does already.

It is a very easy system to work with, I like that you can run so many different reports and keep track of how much you are spending on trucks to determine which units we need to get rid of.

Tatems has given us the ability to track 90 day BIT inspections, cost analysis on each piece of our equipment, fuel and mileage analysis on each vehicle. TATEMS is EASY to use and has excellent training videos. We just had our CHP inspection and passed easily. It was wonderful not having to worry about the maintenance of the vehicles. We have used TATEMS for about a year and we are very pleased with the performance, price and ease of the software. The service department is quick, friendly and very helpful.

Tatems has helped our company become organized and on time with our maintenance. Before everything was done by paper and it was very hard to keep track of it all. We are a small company but we do have a lot of trucks, rigs, and misc. equipment to keep track of and what's nice is instead of going to that one's particular folder or file, everything is right here at your disposal. The fuel tab and report is also very nice with todays gas prices you keep track of how much your spending and see if you need to change things. You also don't have to be a computer genius to understand the program. If there's something your don't understand I have called Marc Ready on the phone and he was always helpful and most of the time available right away.
